So, I'm sure that before the 1.16 update you could hover over the item and then see the crafting items needed for the particular block you wanted right? It seems that this isn't the case after the 1.16 update. When hovering over the block item the recipe does not show on the crafting table. Minecraft Villagers are detecting Workstations (POI) from over 100+ blocks away when supposedly only supposed to detect them from a max of 16 blocks away. Video clearly shows that they are detecting blocks they shouldn't be hundreds of blocks away.

Building @silentwisperer Mob farm using signs to stop the water flow. Kills PS5 Gameplay with a silly loading bar that pops up just after placing a sign. It can take several minutes to place one sign. I managed to lose several hours wasting time placing signs and discovered that fence gates did

So I was going to my enderman farm to recharge my tools when I noticed something was not quite right. The endermen were teleporting out of their cage and onto the glass blocks around the farm. This is on PS5 version 1.19.2 Bedrock.

[MacBros] : Villagers don't search for beds, workstations, and bells (collectively called POI blocks) the way you assume they do. The 16 block (horizontal; vertically it's only 4 blocks) detection range you're talking about does apply, but not when they're looking for a POI block to claim. Instead, you can think of it as all the villagers who dwell in a village "noticing" any POI blocks that they happen to wander near to and adding them to a shared list. Then, any time a village dweller needs a POI block, it will claim the first one in the list that isn't already owned. It could have been noticed by any villager in the village, and is just as likely to be on the opposite side of the village as near the villager who decides to claim it.
In the case of your video, a villager you've placed is apparently claiming a composter that you placed about 128 blocks away. There must be a villager who notices the new composter, and it must be with 16 blocks horizontally and 4 blocks vertically. That villager adds the composter to the village's POI list, and it is then available to the new villager as a workstation because both villagers dwell in the same village.
This behavior is by design. However, it's similar to many of the other "bug" descriptions above, and Mojang hasn't informed us that it's "Working As Intended", so this ticket remains open. Based on my experience as a moderator, this combination (behavior is designed but Mojang doesn't resolve it as WAI) indicates that Mojang recognizes that the designed behavior may not be the best way to implement this game mechanic, so they're keeping this bug report open while they consider possible alternatives.
So to summarize, as far as we can tell from the information you've provided, this is not a bug, but Mojang understands that the current mechanics may be making it harder for people to accomplish what they intend to do so they might decide to change it in the future. You need to understand that they will only change it if they're fairly sure the updated implementation won't break existing farms and can be grasped intuitively by a typical user without the need of a detailed "how to" explanation. (The current mechanic doesn't well fit the second part of that qualification, which I believe is why they're considering replacing it with a better mechanic, but the complexity of making sure it doesn't break existing farms slows the whole process down.)
Welp... on PS4, x doesn't work....

PlayStation has non of those keys!
I was JUST playing it last night all day yesterday. Today I go to start it up and the Orange Title screen just shows and nothing more.
Tried the button combo and still didn't work.
I can't delete and reinstall, My internet is terrible!
PS4 V2.10 Digital.
UPDATE:
I've managed to get mine to work. I had to close the application and open it several times. Each time I did the button combo (not sure if that helped) and the game eventually got past the splash screen and into the game to play.
Alec Cambefort - YOU PAID $60 for a $20 game???!?!?
lol! just exit the app and run the app a few times. It'll work. Also, use the combo, it works. It's something you have to have patients for. This is an INDI GAME, Not a "AAA"... they have bugs and are supported by their users.
I had the red screen.. I just reloaded the game over and over while using the combo, COMBO didn't work and I reloaded AGAIN-and-again..., I am now playing again...
Happening again. All of my mob farms that use buttons on the side of blocks so mobs will pathfind across them stopped working after the latest hotfix.

Sorry, somehow I put this in the wrong project. You can delete this one. I created another in Bedrock.
So I was going to my enderman farm to recharge my tools when I noticed something was not quite right. 2 things actually.
1. The endermen were teleporting out of their cage and onto the glass blocks around the farm. See the video for a demonstration.
2. I also noticed that they attack you without you even looking at them, also seen in the video. This is on PS5 version 1.19.2 Bedrock.

I can confirm that in 1.19.2 that this is happening. See the video for a demonstration. Minecraft Bedrock, single player in survival.
This video also shows them teleporting to glass blocks which have also been reported on a different ticket.

@[Mod] GoldenHelmet - YEah, I just tried to recreate it and you may be right. They don't attack when not looking at them. It must just have been the chaos when I realized they were teleporting onto glass blocks. You can disregard my report. Sorry.
You guys really need to fix how the game saves. If I didn't keep creating a backup of my game saves after every hour of gameplay, I would have lost my 2+-year-old world several times.
Whenever there is a power outage, the game will ALWAYS get corrupted and be deleted. This never happens on any other game I have, just Minecraft.
I don't know what coding or protocol you use for Minecraft game saving, but it currently sucks. I have had to RAGE QUIT my game for weeks on end because I forgot to duplicate my game save after several hours of gameplay and builds, only to lose all the hours of work because the game save file gets corrupted and deleted after a power outage.
This isn't something new either. You all know that this problem exists. Why haven't you fixed this?
PS4, PS5 Bedrock. Current version.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. load world and play for several hours
2. Wait for a power outage - or pull the plug.
3. Try and load saved world, then Rage Quit game.
Observed Results:
Spend several hours building things, then the power goes out. The power comes back on and turn on the PS5 and loads the Minecraft game. Go to load the world file and get an error saying the file is corrupted and the file gets deleted.
Expected Results:
Expect to load Minecraft and up again and open the saved world and be back at the last save point.

Just ran into this on Bedrock on PS5. I have all the parts, but it won't let me craft it. 1.19.41
