I am encountering a bug where whenever I access any type of menu the sound cuts out and does not return for a while, but it does eventually come back sometimes and other times it just crashes.
Menus that can be interacted with are:
- Inventory
- Main menu
- Blacksmith/Wandering trader
- Friends tab
Enemies also stop moving during this time. If I try to play a mission during this time the game crashes. It has been happening since launch and I'm on PC.
Frequency: 100% (On accessing any menu)
Severity: 70% (Infuriating when trading or changing gear but otherwise
perfectlyplayable)
Specs:
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
- Processor: Intel Core i5-7500 @ 3.4GHz

The more actions done that involve the menus (Example: Enchanting, buying from blacksmith multiple times)increases the time the game spends delaying the sounds and thus increasing the chance of a crash occurring.
When the sound comes back all the sounds that would have played during this time play at the same time.

Update:
I ran the game on my laptop and everything worked as intended. So it might be that another software is interfering or a hardware problem.

Final Update (Fixed):
I found the solution to my problem Turns out the sound card needed to be updated manually.

This isn't a bug so much as change suggestion. Since the Soggy caves exploit exists there have been people going up the Apocalypse + difficulty to get better loot. What we did not consider is the fact that daily trial difficulty scales with the
Maximumrecommended powerrather than your Current power with no way of decreasing the difficulty, making it almost impossible to complete solo (Although this can be worked around by playing on Adventure or Default).I see two ways on how this can be improved:
- Give daily trials difficulty selection
- Make daily trials scale with Current power

Rolling into certain doors makes you take damage. This does not work in all cases.
For instance: Rolling from camp to house is deadly but rolling from house to camp is fine.
How to recreate:
- Start a roll
- Enter the door before the roll ends

1 week after upload and still no reply. Please it's getting even more infuriating with at least 8 crashes a day
It also happens to me but I noticed it's only a visual bug. The gameplay difficulty does change.
