2.Craft it with a map in the middle and paper around, like you would when you want to scale a map.
3.Pick up the map with the help of shift, it won't apply the correct level.EDIT: A video was created by Mike B to showcase the bug in 13w03a, thanks. http://youtu.be/eP9SSYwDOKc
BUT, shouldn't we update the video? I'm asking for someone to recreate the same bug in Minecraft 1.10.2, just to show that it is still in the game.EDIT 2: Just tested in 1.6.2, now when shift-clicking, it says on the tooltip "(Level 1/4)" but it's still on the scale level 0. If try to scale it again, it just stays on "(Level 1/4)" and doesn't scale.
EDIT 3: 3 years and months after I posted this bug, it's still isn't fixed. Wow! I'm getting older, so is the bug. Can't we get it fixed already? Seriously, it's been there since Minecraft 1.4.1 and when the bug tracker was launched. Shows sometimes how ineffective this bug tracker is. As of right now, 56 duplicates have been posted, which is a lot. This needs to be forwarded to the Mojang team ASAP, so it can be fixed. We are now in 1.9.1 pre-release 3, just tested it, and it's still bugged. Probably will be or is one of the oldest bugs posted here that hasn't been fixed.
EDIT 4: Fixed the english because I'm a retard.
Too much EDITs : Looking through the comments again and I just saw that a comment, posted by Tobias Kamphuis a long time ago, linked a video of someone doing a let's play. While playing, he experienced this bug. It's a old version of Minecraft, but it's still relevant : https://youtu.be/Dp-Ecc86ICU?t=5m51s
When scaling a map with a crafting table, shift-clicking won't apply the correct scaling level. Picking it up without shift-clicking scales it at the correct level.
What I expected to happen was...:
To have my map scaled at the next level (in this case, level 0 to level 1).What actually happened was...:
It stayed on the same scale level (in this case, 0).Steps to Reproduce:
1.Get a map (not empty), a crafting table and some paper.

A wild EDIT appeared! : Finally fixed, should I thanks the Mojang team or blame them? I don't know...
Leaving off with my Reddit username, /u/SuperSinkro. Bye bye!
The /title text command doesn't scale depending on the window size.
The first screenshot shows
the smallwindow size, notice the text goes outside the screen
The second showsa biggerwindow size. We can see the full text.Sorry for bad english and if it is a duplicate, but I can't find a issue like that related to 14w20b.

This isn't a bug, look at help.mojang.com. You will see what's the problem.
Look at help.mojang.com, the Minecraft Skin Service is down.
It's random, some will pick object and others don't.
Well if it don't show up and the service is up, try reloging to your Minecraft until your skin shows.
Sorry, I can't help you mutch ...
I think it as been fix in Minecraft1.4.2pre ...
EDIT: Yes it as!
The Minecraft Skin Service is down. You will need to wait until it's back.
The services statues are on help.mojang.com.
That is really weird, but i'm not shure it's a bug.
I think it's a texture problem.
If you break the torch, will it turn back black again ?
Your welcome
You need to use seeds for Chicken and Carrots for Pigs.
Yes, I know you can just drag it in your inventory but if you shift-click by mistake, you will lose 8 papers.
That shud be fix, I don't know why it still appends.
I think it because of the language you choose.
What is your Minecraft Language ?
They now spawn on Swamp Biome. Are you near one?
This is not a bug.
You forgot an argument in the command.
This is not a bug.
I think you are referring that as a New Feature or a Improvement.
I can confirm that, but you can just put 1131 to teleport to 1130.
This is not a bug, it is just the generation.
Update the water and it should work.
Yeah, they have reduce the hit-box.
That is annoying, even the player can jump over.
NOT A BUG !
Pigs need carrots, chickens seeds, sheeps and cows need wheat.
It's your computer or Minecraft. It works fine for me.
Even in 1.4.4 .
That is not a bug. Well it's always like that for me.
Yes, you're right.
When you die with invisibility on multiplayer (like when you hit the ground to hard or someone kills you), the effect stay forever but could be remove if you die again.
No, works fine for me. No delay. Are you in multiplayer ?
Facepalm ... Not a bug.
Well anyway, i don't think it's a bug.
If we take a example: real life.
You can punch something while eating.
In my opinion, it's not that much of a deal.
Impossible to reproduce.
I've tested that in 1.4.4 .
LordAro is right.
When the lightning engine will be fix, you won't have that anymore.
Long time that this is up and it is still not fixed. Oh well.
Thanks for the video Mike B, i'll put that in the description.
It's not Haste 4, but Haste 5.
In the command /effect, the last number is the amplifier. If it is 1, the potion effect is of level 2.
So /effect @p 3 100 4 is not Haste 4 but Haste 5.
Anyway, not able to reproduce.
(Sorry for bad English.)
EDIT: Can you attach a crash report so the Mods can see what is wrong?
Hum ... weird.
Well at least it works normally with a texture pack, so I will use one.
EDIT: Re downloading the snapshot seems to fix it, thanks anyway. ^^
Well, when the bow is already enchanted, you can't add more enchantments form the enchanted table, only form the anvil with books.
I'll test if I can reproduce.
EDIT: Not able to reproduce, make sure you didn't drop it somewhere.
With what mob did you reproduced that then?
Well, if you can reproduce, vote the post so it can be fixed faster.
Duplicate of
MC-78. Next time, use the quick search on the top right.Oh, I had a hard time trying to found a post like that ...
But there was one ... oups
Able to reproduce, but we can only see it for less than a second.
Okay, so I have updated the Affects Versions with the recent snapshot 13w25c and I hope this will be fixed for 1.6. This bug still occurs on the snapshot 13w25c.
