This problem occurs on 1.6.2, 1.6.3 and all of the snapshots for 1.7 also!
Please fix it guys, this really is freaking annying!
For the purpos of reporting bugs, you should update the affacted versions to 1.6.1, 1.6.2, 1.6.3 and 1.6.4 also all of the 1.7 snapshots havent had this fixed!
Confirmed: I have the same issue, however also beds have this problem where the side of the bed the texture screws up...
Like i said, heres an example on the beds screwing up.
