Modified Badlands Plateau and Mountain Edge don't generate and gives out invalid biome data in single biome worlds
The bug
When loading a new world and trying to use the locatebiome command you cannot find any biome generation of the modified badlands plateau or mountain edge despite its unmodified variants being able to generate regularly. But if you load up the biomes in a single biome buffet world you'll spawn in with the generated biome features and it'll say ocean instead of the biome name and spam out "Invalid biome data received, starting from 0" and continuing with -1.How to reproduce
1. Download the Caves and Cliffs Datapack and add it to the world you're trying to create.
2. Then go into the single biome buffet world setting and chose either modified badlands plateau or mountain edge.
3. Look at the F3 menu to see the biome named to "ocean" and the game output log to the log with spammed "Invalid biome data received, starting from 0".Weird work around
1. Download the Caves and Cliffs Datapack and add it to the world you're trying to create.
2. Go into import settings and import the "worldgen_settings_checkers".
3. Use /locatebiome and teleport or fly south or north to said biomes.
Noticed how in the checkers world, they generate without spamming the log with the "Invalid biome data received, starting from 0" and how in the F3 menu it's the name of the biome. The bug

Working as intended as dead bushes can be planted on grass since 1.17
I believe this is working as is, since learning about how the configured features work, they need to have the same directory as the biome files, for your case you name the folder configured_features folder to placed_feature. This is probably easily fixed by doing minecraft/worldgen/placed_feature.
Can Confirm.
Nate Leon Source?

I believe you will need to use /summon Minecraft villager ~ ~ ~ {VillagerData:
{profession:”minecraft:(any type)”,level:1,type:”plains”}}
Pretty sure this is working as intended, since when the villagers grow up they will need to find a job
You see the problem here is that Nitwits won't work at workstations, they may look like it but, but in all reality they're just nitwits
Can someone please makes this "Working as intended", since the command is now this to summon them: /summon Minecraft villager ~ ~ ~ {VillagerData:
{profession:”minecraft:(any type)”,level:1,type:”plains”}}
This might be because they’re in the overworld turning into a zombified piglin
This is more of a feature request than a bug report :T
Has not been added yet.
Were they in a different directory? Sometimes this happens when the game directory is changed or if the world folder is deleted outside of the game itself.
This is apparently this is a Minecraft bedrock issue, please don't put this in the bug reports for java. Hopefully, you remember this next time. Also, this is because the creators haven't updated them.
Due to being older version of the game, this may have already been patched up, or it may be intended as the daylight sensors are put for the night and not day
I believe this is an addon issue for bedrock edition which you have to contact the owners of the addon.
can confirm for 21w11a, this happens even if the base biomes have any little change to them, via color change or addition of already existing generations.
note, this isn't even from updating worlds to the latest snapshot, it can already exist if the world has any form of biome generation or customization in the existing datapack.
Can confirm 21w13a
did any of the pillagers die or fell somewhere? As I do get patrols with leaders still.
can confirm for 21w14a, the world has been doing fine until a certain amount of time while flying through the world caused the log to get spammed once more.
I believe this is intended in a way since dripstone can generate in other biomes now, mainly just a small portion of it.
Can confirm for 21w15a, with THE CAVES & CLIFFS PROTOTYPE DATA PACK being used.
It’s working as intended since dead bushes are a part of the swamp generation files.
can confirm for 21w17a
it's fine, lol
for some reason, the "Smelt Everything!" achievement doesn't work for me in the latest bedrock version (1.17.2) even though I placed the chests down on the hoppers with the single furnace on the bottom.
Note: the platform I'm playing on is windows 10, I don't know if that's where the bug is considered different or if it's the same
Oh okay, I just discovered that they didn't generate either in 1.17. Should I keep it up or change it, since I found out it also affects custom biomes that have the same json file format as an existing biome.
Okay found out that it's somewhat similar to
MC-224459Most likely it's due to a desert biome just spawning around, but can confirm
This is caused as the game can now create certain factors without making it a biome, like rivers of all kinds will generate in these worlds without the need for a biome. Idk if this is intended but it might just be since it does allow single biomes to have these factors.
Is working as intended, since it's a feature and an easter egg. This is similar to spawning swamp villagers in a swamp biome.
do the reinforcements spawn when it's completely zero? if so, then it's a part of the new mob rule, where they won't spawn above zero.
Can be confirmed as invalid as these biomes no longer exist in 1.18.
This can be intended as a side effect of making seeds more unique.
can confirm for 21w44a, also this affects caves create worlds.
Can Confirm, as the account would get logged off and tell the user that they couldn't sign in to their Xbox account.
By any chance did you open this world in 1.6.4 does the bug appear, this could be the issue of updating anything before 1.6.4 as this could cause problems as the game mentions that worlds should be updated to 1.6.4 before you open it in 1.18.
can confirm
go into the profile and click on more options, then press on the "X" to clear the java executable
Can confirm
