It just crashes the screen stays black for about a 2 seconds then it crashes.
(this is my first bug report so if I get anything wrong sorry.)

well its obvious why that's happening
to many entities crash computers (in other words: do u have any common sense)
tis place for bugs thats why its called a BUG TRACKER
I just get rid of the notification and play offline
also in 61 u just gotta connect minecraft services then u will be fine
i thought this was about a crap wifi connection cuz i got bad service XD
are u connected to Minecraft services
uninstalling them hasn't fixed the issue

it decided 2 start crashing again i'm gonna try 2 install the old launcher
ur fix doesn't work >=[
