When a mob carries the keymob and falls off of an edge the keymob will be gone forever and it has happened twice on cacti canyon for me so far.
So yesterday i went into the change log for the newest snapshot(as of posting this) in that change log under the section with the axolotls and i noticed 2 mistakes in the last line of the axolotl section it says "in the world" twice in a row which is a mistake and the other mistake is that the last line is appering twice in a row.

@DrownedZombie it is not same problem that one is going to a newer version but this one is going from a snaphot of 1.17 to a version of 1.16

So i was joining a realm and then i canceled it and went to join a server and for some reason after i joined the server it connected me to my realm as well as the server the image i've added is what happened to the end dimension which is what i was in in my realm but the server is in the overworld and the chat is from the server as well and the Tab screen is the server everything else is from my realm i've noticed that if i cancel far into joining the realm it will still join even if your on the main menu of the game
How to replicate: join a realm and wait a few seconds depending on how long it takes to connect and then cancel it after it cancels it should still connect you to the realm and this causes problems with other parts of minecraft.
Tested multiple times in 1.16.4 i haven't tested it 1.16.5-rc1 but there's no shown fixes for this so i assume it is the same there.

In the attachments there's an image and the endstone you see is what is surpose the be the ground but is now a wall on my screen from my realm which is not a part of the server

You know that 1.16 isn't 1.17 right? if not this one is on you.
What you said disappered is 1.17 items and then you opened it in 1.16 where it doesn't exist

I am a little late to reply but yes this still is a thing and i can't really say the repro rate because it is sorta random
I had the same issue when viewing the blocks almost parallel to the players POV

So i just went to record this happening and now i am confused
There's two possibilities either this only happens on the first time playing on the version as now there's no problems
or there was something affecting my minecraft so it might need to close now unless someone can give more details on maybe why this has happened
