The Bug:
When changing dimensions, there is a chance that the lighting does not update.
This is an issue because it too hard to see in the Nether or End, Not being able too see in the end is especially an issue, because you cant just go to the overworld again.
How to Reproduce:
Simply build a portal between dimensions. There is a chance the lighting doesn't update.
Expected Result:
The lighting changes to reflect the change in dimensions,
Observed Result:
The lighting sometimes doesn't update. This only appears to affect the visual ambient light,
not lightcoming from blocks. This does not appear to affect mob spawning. The Bug:

Saving and re-opening the world doesn't seen to do anything. Copying the world doesn't seem to do anything either. However, restarting the game sometimes fixes it, and sometimes causes more weird issues.

Ambient Lighting does not update when changing Dimensions/Exiting waterAmbient Lighting does not update when changing Dimensions or Exiting water
(my computer has 16GB ram, windows 10)
RAM values are for the game only.
This happened to me.
This happens extremely quickly on Mineplex right now.
I was trying to get a picture, went into fullscreen and the game was solid pink.
More Testing: Going into full screen it went full pink, Exiting fullscreen fixes it. This happened after the characters go pink.
Later:
9GB ram usage. Player icons on pause screen are pink, characters are pink. Dressing room is super pink. Achievements is a full pink screen, but you can leave.
Now it is at 10.5GB! It is unplayable at types. My available RAM in task manager is below 500MB! The settings screen is mostly fine, just a few icons are pink,
Then ram usage jumped down to 8.5 GB suddenly.
After some gameplay, after /hub I saw steeves for a short second and then they turned pink! Now 10 ram usage. Task manager says ~500M-1G avalible.
Now it dropped to 6.5GB.
The drops happen while in task manager.
