When creating a nether portal (at least 3x3 size), when one places an end Crystal and subsequently lights the portal, the end crytal will appear on the other side of the portal (from overworld to nether or vice versa). Check video attached.
This does not happen on Minecraft Java Edition.
You can not join a world from a device that you have hotspot to because you are "not connected to WIFI". Used to work in MCPE 0.7.0 ~ 0.12.0 (before UI change)

1. Host a hotspot connection (on phone)
2. Connect with another device (running compatible version)
3. Open a world to LAN on the other device

That's true, it happens on Android too.
This may be due to the fact that 0.10.0 requires lots of memory and a good processor to run on. Since MCPE 0.11.0 came out, Minecraft PE requires more scripts, etc. Did you know that a dooledual core processor is recommended and an iPad 1st gen, and all the old devices have only a single core, thus slowing it down and now its too slow. I hope mcpe developers can fix this for your son and others.

This bug is not fixed yet, 0.14.0 Beta 1 still has this bug, when you crouch then exit and reenter the world, you stop crouching.
No I don't think so, this bug should be fixed (It's fixed for the 0.14.0b3)

Me too! It doesn't go past "importing" and I am able to re-download to get to "importing again. However, music does play in the world...
