Is this a bug or intended behaviour? Seems like they should
at leastbe controlled at least at normal human swimming speed (not as fast as boats).Them not being able to swim is making them really useless to travel in normal terrain, because you really can't avoid rivers.
After updating to Windows 8.1 the launcher won't start, doesn't put out any errors or crash reports.
After clicking on the minecraft icon in my hotbar, the icon highlights for several minutes and then returns to normal. I've tried using Magic launcherto play the game and I managed to playthe gameusing it.Steps I've taken to try and fix it:
- Re-download the launcher
- Delete.minecraft folder
- Remove Java and re-installing it
- Upgrade Java 7 to Java 8 beta

Can reproduce, really annoying.
Confirmed. Bug non existing prior to the texture pack update. ATI Radeon 4660, Windows 8, Java 7 64Bit.
How is this not a bug if the launcher is incompatible with a windows version while other launchers are?
How do you know that's only for me? Do you use windows 8.1 and it works for you? Usually you post bug reports to see if it's reproduce-able and then decide if it's a technical problem with my machine or an issue with the launcher itself.
More so if I described to you every possible fix I can do on my end to make it work and it still doesn't.
I think Tails is a little trigger happy with the resolved button.
