Does creating a new character affect my hero from possibly returning? What the chances of me getting my 106 hero back? I love the game but right now I am just so hesitant to play since losing my hero I put so much time into.
I have no words. Ill just keep watch but I cannot play this if its just going to delete my characters over and over.

I just read the update and saw the Avast Cleanup Tool may be causing the problem. But the Avast Cleanup is only available if you pay for it. I have automatic maintenance on but I unchecked the system junk option. So then my next question would be why is only Minecraft dungeon saves the only Microsoft Store game that I ran into that the saves can be deleted by removing system junk? And also is everyone who lost their character this way SOL? I just need to know this before I start playing again.
I am starting to get a bit worried. It has been weeks and the only update is Avast Cleannup Tool may be causing the issue but others are reporting the same problem but do not have that application. I want to play this game but 3 of my characters I have lost because of this. Disabling system junk did not stop the issue which is how I lost my 3rd character. Until then I cannot justify putting time into the game let alone buying the DLC.

I didn't realize this was more common than I thought. I lost my 106 hero yesterday as well.
