This issue is not a duplicate and has not been resolved because this was created yesterday with update 1.2.11 my computer locked up while playing minecraft and I had to do a hard shutdown. now my saved game has disappeared how do I recover my saved game

mega_spud I read your report and I went to check my piston doors and found found more information. I have two doors with only two pistons on one side connected to two levers by redstone. I have 1 door with 4 pistons connected to 2 levers by redstone with a repeater boosting signal from each lever. This door was not working and when I broke the door to go thru I found that somehow both levers were turned on. Is it at all possible that the levers could get out of sync when they are being updated during game startup or some other time?
I am leaving a comment for mega_spud. I found stronghold in survival and creative but no end portal. I am sending screenshot from creative mode. Ender eyes went inside wall of room with stone slab arch and stopped. I destroyed some walls to find eyes but no end portal
I am going to send some screenshots from stronghold in survival mode. I have seen pictures of end portals with a lava pit on either side so I am sending what might be half of a end portal room.

I am having the same trouble with mobs but they don't reappear at sricking range they just kill me. includes cows and villagers and a minecart vanished. I also harvested a couple of dark oak trees and only got 4 blocks of wood. mobs have disappeared in the nether and my cobble stone house in the nether containing my portal has big holes in it. is it possible for creepers to pass thru a portal? this started 4-8-18
Maybe resolved means something different across the ocean but here in the united states it means problem is fixed. I have never used mods in minecraft and i still have two or more zombie mob spawners that were created randomly by program that have the little spinning mob inside but they do not spawn anything. Thanks!
