I can confirm the same behavior. I will also add that I've only seen it at launch time during the loading screen. This occurs on multiple Fedora 29 machines - some the crash is intermittent, the others 100% of time. Did not occur on Pre-Release 2. Added my log file as well.hs_err_pid4044.log
I can also confirm in 1.14.1. While monitoring the villager, I've noticed it also forgetting its bed and meeting point despite them never being broken. It seems the larger the space, as indicated in the bug report, the lower the chance of POI amnesia.
I've encountered this for 2 different end cities on 1.14.2 and opened up MC-153193 for it before seeing this report. Restoring from a backup and regenerating the end city does not resolve the issue.
I don't think anyone is debating that minds change or that in many cases it's for the better. The question here, however, is whether or not these type of major mechanic changes should be occurring in point releases. I personally liked the new enchanting system and I find it rather irritating that Mojang continues to make major mechanic changes in the point releases.
Thanks for the link. I also noticed that issue during survival game play. However, I did not find it to be too limiting - it just motivated me to find the appropriate villager with Looting III/Fortune III/Silk Touch. In the mean time, I could also just combine two level II enchants or 4 level I enchants to get it if it was critical early on ( which I did ). From my perspective, I don't see it as too much of an issue.
@violine1101 I don't think that's true. The comments certainly suggested that as a potential fix, but the bug description describes the situation where pigman lose their aggro even when a different 'alarm pigman' has line of sight. In this case, the alarm pigman denotes a strategically placed pigman which always has line of sight and is aggro'd. In 1.13, as long as an aggro'd pigman had line of sight, it would spread aggro to other pigman within a certain radius - even if those other pigman didn't have line of sight.

Also confirming for 1.14 pre-5 on Fedora 29.

Still exists in 1.14.2
