if you throw a splash potion, and then a persistent one, you will note that the throwing sound is lower in the splash potion.
How to reproduce:
1.- Create a creative world in snapshot 21w13a
2.- Take any splash potion (or splash water bottle)
3.- Take any persistent potion (or persistent water bottle)
4.- Throw the spalsh potion wihout stopping
5.- Change to the persistent potion wihout releasing the mouse click
6.- And you will notice the problemif you throw a splash potion, and then a persistent one, you will note that the throwing sound is lower in the splash potion.

Minecraft always gets freezed on that part of the loading screen, just wait, and it will load

If you trow a splash potion, it will make a sound, right? Well, if you trow a lingering potion, it will make a sound too, but, the sound that makes the lingering potion has a lower volume that the splash potion. With sound volume i refer to the sound of trowing the splash o lingering potion/water bottle, not the sound of the potion/water bottle crashing in the floor or any other surface
