We have issues on our realms where the backup, usually scheduled every 30 minutes, sometimes does not happen. This is really frustrating as we do community builds. All prgress is lost. This is happening regularly lately. Last night we spend around 3 hours doing a community build and everything we have done was not saved!!! Please sort this out!!!

Yeah you are correct. This is really frustrating since we spend a lot of time in Realms. We are a closed community and this annoys all of us. We love Minecraft but this is causing that some of the players don’t even want to play on Realms anymore. I was told by Matt Gartzke on Twitter that it will be fixed in the Aquatic update. We are on Phase 2 already and still struggling with this. Not too impressed. Hopefully this bug tracker will attract the right persons to fix it ASAP

Minecraft did not crash. This happens after everyone has left. I have started to check if the game backs up as I've noticed it is usually every 30 minutes. Last night I noticed that it did not back up every 30 minutes. The last backup was at 22:19. We played untill 00:15 where everyone left the realm and. I then I saved and quit the game myself. It then showed a backup for 00:15 but with the exact same file size as at 22:19 (2458.61MB) I then knew that all our progress was lost. I logged back in and it rolled back to the 22:19 backup. Like I said this has happened many times before.
My friends with realms also have the exact same issue
