Having a similar issue. Since I migrated my mojang account over to my Microsoft account I was getting the same error massage. But, after the update to the launcher I'm getting a new massage.
"Something went wrong in the login process. If the problem persists, check your internet connection."
I tried to open a ticket for this different issue. But, it was closed claiming it was a duplicate of this ticket.
Since MCL-16269 has been closed as "resolved" and I'm still having issues logging in. I would like to reopen my ticket or ticket MCL-16269 needs to be reopened...

WHAT? FIXED? No it is not FIXED! I just tried to log on and this is what I got!
The audacity to clam an issue is resolved when this many people are having the SAME problem is border line out right corrupt!
It has been 3 WEEKS since this issue has raised and now we get this? Fix this, now.
