Playing on a 1.3.1 world. When selecting an item on the creative menu (having cleared out the space on the bar), I can't place it on the bar, but I have to use keyboard to get that item, which is really annoying.

I expected to be able to select the item normally with the mouse, but that doesn't work.
I got diamonds and I wanted to frame them into an item frame. I went to my workbench and I made the crafting recipe. I got no item frames. I expected to be able to craft an item frame, but I don't know why I'm not able.

Yes, that was the problem, Joël.
It concerns minecraft because it should do proper use of the LWJGL libraries.
Issue still present in Minecraft 1.4.4pre
I spawned into a solid block in a 1.4.4pre world...
Unable to reproduce.
Doesn't happen in 1.4.4
Minecraft 1.4.3+ are not affected by this issue.
