What happened
I was helping someone with a function and the function uses the /execute at command. When I try to run it in the nether or end, it ignores everthing unless it is in the overworld in which case it acts appropriatley
Strangeness
Strangely, when trying to reproduce with a different command, it absolutely not work, only with the command that I am using
How to reproduce
1. summon an armor stand named Control
2. teleport it into some blocks in the nether
3. run this command: /execute as @e[type=armor_stand,name=Control] at @s unless block ~ ~1.7 ~ air run say hi
4. you should see hi appear in chat
5. repeat steps 1 through 3 on the top of the nether
6. you won't see hi appear in chat unless something is acting very weird on my client
I have no clue why this happens, if you have any idea what can happen or if you can reproduce, please comment as such.

I did some research after posting this and it's an NVidia issue and there doesn't seem to be a way to delete this...
I launched Minecraft 1.14 with OBS open and my game record source wasn't set to it so I set it to the minecraft window and for some reason minecraft decided to crash, I tested this twice to make sure I could recreate it and I was able to figure out that this is what caused the issue. The logs show no indication of any issues, it just flat out crashed.
I attached the log so that you can see what I mean. The logs contained my username and my real name so I replaced those both with to [Redacted]
I have had this happen, I can't open my inventory at all in my profiile, I have to use the official snapshot profile
I saw this bug in a video by logdotzip, let me check on my version
reproduced succesfully, only seems to effect cod
I had a friend do the test and it works as expected, only seems to effect my client, more testing required
strangely the test works fine on my end as well, but the bug still exists
After quite a bit of research, only in command blocks, it won't summon the armorstand in the right dimension, the exact same command will work fine in the nether via me, via commandblock I get no errors or command block output
function
Just to make sure you know, this is in a snapshot and being run from a function, I can post the function so you can attempt to reproduce
K, will do, it is an old project but if it still exists,in my opinion it requires fixing
I tested it in 1.13-pre3 and it no longer occurs
No problem
Can reproduce, all signs use white text instead of their corresponding sign item texts
This was an actual server, not a lan, I have had issues with LANs before. As seen in the linked video, it still remains in current snapshots, however I had the issue in an earlier snapshots, I am unsure which
I had some other friends test out the setup with other software and the issue also occurs there. The fact that it only seems to happen with Minecraft makes me think it is something that could probably be fixed.
I did a little more research and apparently this is an NVidia issue and not an issue with MC or OBS so I will remove this if there is a way to, otherwise if a mod comes along, you can mark this as closed or something like that...
I saw this issue while looking through the wiki because I was experiencing the same bug, even with commands I can't set their anger timer to 0, it just resets, I decided to set the game to peaceful for a few minutes and see if that will fix it, this is a huge issue and definitely should not exist this far into the main branch of the game.
I had this same issue, I don't know where the item came from but I have an item that has an empty name so now I have a shulkerbox that is useless to me
I am in 1.14.2
I am still having the error in 1.14.2, it also seems to effect the name field of the attribute effects of items.
