When a fence gate is powered by redstone, it sometimes renders as open, but really isn't. When clicked on, it does truely open.
How to replicate
1. Place a pressure plate next to a fence gate.
2. Stand on said pressure plate.
3. Click on said fence gate.
4. It renders open, but in fact, is closed.Alternative Method
1. It happens randomly when walking over said pressure plate, into said fence gate.Update:
While bugged, the fence gate does not get affected by redstone to truely open.

If you use the Samsung keyboard, this bug occurs. Just use a different keyboard. There are plenty on the Play Store!
You're on survival. You know that, right? It's not like survival means infinite items.
Completely true, found this out while I was enchanting and dropped my lapis. That's when I noticed it, so I threw one on the ground and, sure enough, it wasn't spinning.
Edit: I'm in 14w04b and in fast they don't render.
Saw this while cleaning my cake room. Confirmed.
Built it, and flying was enabled.
Not when I was walking really slowly though.
Noobs on bugtrackers ಠ_ಠ
Can confirm for 1.8.3 and Windows 10 Tech Preview.
Found a
fixworkaround! If you use the MultiMC launcher, this stops happening.
My best guess is it has something to do with the normal launcher ¯_(ツ)_/¯
It doesn't change the files. My best guess is it uses different/newer libraries and LWGJL versions.
Or it starts it with different parameters. well i dunno ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Helps me though, great launcher.
I have 3 monitors, so I can't just keep exiting/entering fullscreen just to choose another track or YouTube video, so this is a really big inconvenience.
You do not have 260GHz. You have 2.6.
I also hope it gets kept in some way, this is cool functionality.
Confirmed for 15w51a&b
In my experience with this, this also causes massive amounts of server lag.
