In the "Skins" menu, there's a tooltip you can view by hovering on a "?" that contains a link to a Minecraft help article about skins. However, it's not possible to click this link in the tooltip as the tooltip disappears when
the mouse stops hovering onthe "?" icon.
What I expected to happen
I expected the tooltip would remain visible as long as my mouse cursor remained hovered on it or the "?" icon, allowing me to click the link and view the help article.
What actually happened
The tooltip disappeared immediately after moving my cursor off the "?" icon and onto the tooltip.
Steps to reproduce
- From the launcher, select the Java Edition tab, then click "Skins" at the top.
- Select a skin and click edit or start creating a new one.
- Position your mouse cursor over the circled white question mark icon next to "Skin File" and attempt to click the link in the white tooltip that appears.

The bug
News article images momentarily disappear and show their filename when clearing a search or category
What I expected
Article images wouldn't disappear. Perhaps they would fade in a bit nicer too (feels like an animation is missing given how smooth everything else in the launcher is)
Steps to reproduce
**Navigate to the news section- Click one of the category select checkboxes twice OR input a search term into the box then remove it
- Observe for a split second as the images flash away revealing the filename then reappear suddenly
When using commands that provide TAB completion options, pressing ESC should display expected arguments that provide hints at what the command accepts. However, this behavior is seemingly inconsistent.
Steps to reproduce:
- Start typing "/tp
{}". It will show tab suggestions for the command- Press ESC to back out of the suggestions list
Observe how command suggestions are shown
- Now, try the same with /teleport. Type "/teleport
{}" and press ESC when you see the tab completionsObserve how, despite /tp and /teleport providing the same completions and expecting the same arguments, the hints don't appear, and instead an error does

Edit as of Minecraft 1.20-Pre2
This seems to have been partially resolved as part of the fix for
MC-165562. However, this is only a partial fix.To demonstrate this, typing /tp and backing out of the TAB suggestions now correctly displays the argument suggestions. However, typing /tp William278 and pressing space will display the error, despite there being valid additional arguments a user could pass to the command. In that case, typing a single character will then display the argument suggestions list.
At the very least, the "inconsistent between commands" part of this issue has been fixed as of Pre-2, as this behavior is consistent between /tp and /teleport; it was not before. It remains inconsistent between arguments.
