no it just happens randomly, it could ruin a mission that you could have spent 30 minutes on...
it happens so often that you can't even play a mission because you have to keep restarting your game. Not using an external gamepad, or anything of the sort.
happens a lot, really annoying, usually when you move back before the door opens
