I am unable to launch modded Minecraft using the latest Minecraft Launcher with Java 10. I am reporting this bug in the Mojang Bug Tracker because it has something to do with the Minecraft Launch Wrapper.
Here's the last line in the launcher_log.txt:

Steps to reproduce
Install any modification for Minecraft (OptiFine for example)
Note that the bug here is the Minecraft Launch Wrapper, which is a Minecraft library, and not the modification.

Also your Minecraft is modded so... if the vanilla version works fine , then probably you should ask the mod developers for help?
This ticket is invalid as it relates to a modified or 3rd party client, server, or launcher.
Kumasasa, the bug here is the Minecraft Launch Wrapper, not the modification. Note that Minecraft Launch Wrapper is a Minecraft library.
Java 10 will soon take over Java 8, so if this bug won't get fixed, mods will not be able to be played.

What if the vanilla Minecraft is bugged so that it can no longer compatible with mods? The mods don't get wrong; the part relevant to be compatible with mods in vanilla Minecraft does.
D, Java 8 works fine in launching modded Minecraft; Java 10 will fail to load any modded Minecraft.

Minecraft isn't approved to run with Java 9 or Java 10, without or with mods.
Still not a bug.
