MC-156804Redstone will not make potions longer.
When I put redstone in to add to the duration of the potion it does not work.

What potion is in the brewing stand?
I have currently confirmed with the regeneration and strength potion.
Already amplified potion effects can not be lengthened. You can either use glowstone or redstone, but not both.
