MC-200464Invisible Cat in Forest?
This is going to sound really weird, but:
On my Realm I was transporting items from my little starter cave to my new house, when i was grabbing some things from my chest, i heard a cat meow, i was really confused because cats are only supposed to spawn in villages. I decided to go investigate. I turned on subtitles so i could find out where it was. I looked all over but could not find it, it was still meowing and running around, it was really close. Then, i stood on a tree to look around. And i saw that, from where the sounds were coming, particles of something hitting the ground. but there weren't any animals around, just that cat sound. I went over to it and it sounded like the cat was right by me, but no cat still. Eventually i think it ran away or despawned or something because there were no more sounds.
I really hope you can figure out what this was.
Unfortunately I only got one screenshot of the sound.

But how would it work on a Realm? And why was there a cat in the forest?

I do have Optifine installed, but i don't know how that would make a cat invisible on a realm.
I will go turn off forge and go in to the realm again to see if i can find it again.

It's a known issue with Optifine that mobs occasionally render invisible.
Strange.
Still dont know why there was even a cat in the forest. Eh
