Amethyst geodes generates sometimes in 4 adjoining chunks. That should't be. Maby 1 geode for 6-8 chunks it'll be fine.

Hey there!
I wouldn't really class this incident as a bug. Finding two of them next to each other Is quite rare however it's not an error within the game.
Geodes have a 1/48 chance per chunk to generate.
World generation isn't finalized yet. I assume they've increased the spawn rates of these for the snapshot so that you can easily find them to check them out.
If this issue still persists when the 1.17 pre-releases start, feel free to create a new bug report.
