MC-204866Netherite Armor Breaking Faster Than Diamond Armor
I had just made a netherite helmet with Aqua Affinity and Respiration III and the durability has been going down all most as fast as my iron armor. I thought maybe swimming with the enchantments wear down durability, but I've barely sawm with it on. I then thought maybe it was swimming in lava with fire resistance, but I only did that twice and it's still going down the same speed long after I swam in lava. So could you please tell me if it's either a bug or if I did something wrong? It's just so weird that diamond armor is lasting longer than netherite.
Environment
I made the armor using Java Edition 1.16.4 and haven't changed to another one since.

Hey there!
Do you happen to have thorns on your armour? I believe having thorns equipped consumes your durability every time it is used. If this isn't the issue, can you provide me for more information as what you were doing when you noticed this problem. Thanks!
No, I don't have any level of Thorns on any of my armor, including the Netherite Helmet.
List of enchantments on your helmet? I believe if most of your damage is coming from above that will affect things. I would advise you to test this more scientifically before immediately classing it as a bug.
