MC-213718my skin cant change and i cant join servers
i've had minecraft for about a week now and i still cant change my skin or join servers.
i've tried changing my skin from the minecraft browser and the minecraft launcher and it shows that i changed my skin but when i load into my world im just steve.
i tried joining servers like hypixel over and over but it wont work , i dont remember what message it showed before but now it just says " Failed to log in: The authentication servers are currently down for maintenance.
its been around a week and it still says that , i tried logging in and out reinstalling minecraft multiple times but nothing is working, i think it might be because minecraft thinks my account is fake or sm but i bought it with money :/
Can someone help i waited months to play and idk if its because im stupid or

MC-207896, which was later resolved as invalid. The reason for this is because, this issue is most likely caused by the use of illegal or incompatible software, which can cause several problems within the game, such as redirecting your login to a random server.
