While teleporting between dimensions, "plains" is displayed as biome in the debug screen
Create a world, open f3 and observe biome.
/execute in minecraft:the_nether run tp @s 0 0 0 /execute in minecraft:the_end run tp @s 0 0 0
While the world is loading, the biome is displayed as "minecraft:plains", no matter the dimension.
In 21w07a MC-214870 changed preventing the biome from displaying until moving in x or z. Until MC-214870 is fixed or maybe the next snapshot, this issue likely will not be able to be reproduced. 21w08a has the same behavior as 21w06a, after the initial waiting message, and can be confirmed again.

- Create a world in 21w05b
- Open f3
- Observe the biome immediatly
- Run
/gamemode spectator /execute in minecraft:the_nether run tp @s 0 0 0 /execute in minecraft:the_end run tp @s 0 0 0
Biome briefly displays the overworld biome (MC-214871) before correcting to the new dimension.
- Create a world in 21w06a
- Repeat steps
New "Waiting for chunk..." message appears, and it takes forever to show the biome.
Note: The chunk will load visually while this message displays, it is not a lag issue where the chunk simply is not loading
Can you attach a picture of this issue, i don’t have enough information
May need spectatorsGenerateChunks set to false.
