Sometimes when placed in a furnace as a fuel source and used, the meter for the remaining time does not go down. The time for the fuel does go down though, just not the visual part of it.

Confirmed for 1.16.5.
Does
MC-10025describe your issue?Could not replicate in 21w15a. This could be because lava smelts 100 items per bucket, meaning it would take a long time to see minimal change in the furnace. Please confirm this isn't the issue.
Could it be an incorrect Affects Version? I have never seen it in the snapshots.
