MC-225862Standing in between fire and a powder snow block doesn't melt the powder snow
The Bug:
Even when the player is standing in between a fire block and a powder snow block, the powder snow doesn't disappear.
To Reproduce:
- Place powder snow and light a block on fire right next to the powder snow
- Go into survival / adventure mode
- Stand on the powder snow block first
- Then stand on the fire block half way
Results:
The powder snow block doesn't disappear

- Use NBT Explorer and set HasVisualFire to 1
- Place powder snow and light a block on fire right next to the powder snow
- Go into survival / adventure mode and stand between the fire and the powder snow block

I don't even think full snow blocks can melt. Only snow layers and ice. It's most likely intentional.
i don't think powdered snow can melt yet
When a burning mob enters powder snow, it melts, but if you are already inside powder snow, and you enter the fire, it doesn't melt. I think that is the bug.
Also can confirm.
