MC-25807Resource Pack Switching is buggy
I was working on a 'resource pack' and couldn't switch from my pack to the default and back again (refresh my pack). When I would click on my resource pack it would not change – just stayed on the default resource pack. I also tried changing packs in the Main Menu and in-game.
To reproduce this issue, try updating a .png (While the game is still running) and refreshing the pack.

Do you edit a zipped resource pack or folder ?
Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" of the launcher. CTRL-A, CTRL-C there, CTRL-V in the ticket.
I was using a .zip. When I tried recreating the problem, the game just crashed.
Don't use a zip file for edititing the resource pack.
Simply extract all the files into a directory and after editing press ingame F3 + T for reloading all textures.
