Your comments add nothing to the issue, as such they're just bloat and get removed. This is a bug tracker, not a forum. Mojang reserves the right to determine what is and isn't acceptable on their platforms.
It's simply not a priority over actually impact-full issues, just a small texture mistake.
A game is not going to set your PC on fire; the only times a PC can catch on fire is when it's not being cooled (properly) by the fans/cooling system.
