MC-31320Passive mobs tend to spawn on the same block
Ever since 1.7 snapshots i've noticed that passive mobs spawn quite badly, often you will get 2 of the same mobs on the same blocks (i have never seen this in 1.6 or before)

Could not reproduce on single player, but confirmed on multiplayer
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version 14w18b / Launcher version 1.3.11 or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
