MC-33018Screen goes black randomly
At random times my screen goes completely black. this is only fixed when I create a lighting update.

Confirming MC-33018
It happened when I was playing in Creative with a night vision potion on
I'm guessing it is a bug related to the potion, other else I dont know how to replicate it
Again it only goes off when making a light update (ie torch) or flying up (i dont even know why)

What goes black ? The entire screen including HUD ? Please attach a screenshot.

Derp. Retested with 13w39b. Can still not confirm.
I have a video I can upload of this occuring.
The Hud, my hand and any contextual menus are still fine.
So far this has been triggered by TNT detonating, water being placed, and occasionally just flying around in creative. Resetting the texture pack and dinking with video settings do not cause the screen to come back to life. Only placing a torch seems to, so this appears to be a bug in the lighting engine.
I do have night vision applied and for an extended period of time, I'm not sure if that is related.
