Different terrain generation - client vs server
I upgraded to 13w41b and the terrain generated in single player minecraft is not the same that generates in multiplayer. I've found a MESA biome that doesn't appear to get generated in multiplayer with the same seed (existing world). I didn't counter-check differences in other biomes, though. Also, the vanilla JAVA gui doesn't show any text either on the right side. I also tried to redownload all the files, tested it and got the same outcome.
Environment
mc vanilla 13w41b (reupload), java 7 update 40, win7 x64 on both server and client, plenty of RAM assigned on both (4 and 8 gigs, respectively)

Seed and coordinates?
Seed: 883858178
Around 4000, 1000 is the mesa in single player.
No sign of mesa or mesa plateau in a 1k radius at least in multiplayer.
Thanks.
Ok, I'm not able to reproduce this problem. I get the same result in single player and on the server. I have included my result in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVlO0AoeYAI
Cannot confirm, see screenshots.
Recreate the server world, check if you have level-type=Default and not Large biomes
