MC-38105Lava glitch in creative

What I expected to happen was...:
to get the block beneath the lava when middle-clicking it
What actually happened was...:
I got "Block 10" - a lava source block that spreads (see attachment)
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place a lava bucket
2. middle click it
3. sometimes it will glitch and give you the lava (Keep trying)

Possible Works as Intended, but perhaps they should give you a bucket of lava instead.
May be a side-effect of
MC-31031Is this still a concern in the latest Minecraft version 14w02c? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Cannot reproduce in 1.7.2/1.7.4/14w08a.
