MC-41595No Hostile Mob Spawns in Hardcore
My hardcore world has no hostile mob spawns. Walked around through completely unlit plains and mesa and saw no hostile mobs just neutral ones

This happened to me on Easy. Changed difficulty to Normal and back, unpausing in between, and even tried "/difficulty 0". And there was even a spawner nearby.
Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.
What is your view distance set to?
Crash report in my world after forcing a crash with F3+C
The crash report says there are hostile mob entities but if there are they aren't above ground at all. I can freely walk around at night in my hardcore world and never see one.

Note: I changed to time via opening the world to LAN and set "Allow Cheats" to on. I'm currently testing it without that.
