this can be closed as Works as intended now

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases. If this has been done, we can reopen the issue.
Keep in mind that the "Resolved"-Status on this ticket just means "Answered", and that we are waiting for further information on whether this issue still exists or not. We will reopen it as soon as the requested information has been delivered.
yeah, still a concern in 1.8.1pre-4, sorry for the late response
can this please be reopened?
I'm sorry for the delay, reopened.
Works as intended as the @e selector cannot target dead entities. See here.
well, there goes my enemie that has a second phase
WAI
this can be resolved as works as intended
The other bugs is about players, not mobs. It's not the same.
[~FaRoGaming] read the comment:
But there is a mob in the world that has these NBT data. So I should be able to test for them.
[Mojang] Searge (Michael Stoyke) made the call to say All other selectors work as intended so, that means it's intended you can't test for them.
And nobody is allowed to argue against it or what?
It's mojang's game, it's mojang's call it's not a bug.
