Well, I was just trying banners.
I tried to take a cyan banner with the mouse wheel in creative mode and strangely I got a black banner.
What I expected to happen was
Getting the banner that I chose.
What happend instead
It gave me a black banner.

You need to use ctrl+pick block to get the banner with the colour.
