When invisible, endermen can see you when you stare at them, causing them to attack.
Why it's weird: Skeletons, spiders, and other mobs (temporarily) won't attack you if you are invisible, but staring at endermen, that's a different story.

This is still an issue. Using invisibility potion with no armor whatsoever (with similar vein as guardian) should result in my not being seen by Endermen, but if I make eye contact with them, they still get provoked and attack. This is in 1.16.
