I have a video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KiGxQmCd08E about it. I summoned 3 stacked boats and they were floating. It freaked me out at first, then I got used to it. {{/summon Boat ~ ~ ~ {Riding:{id:Boat,Riding:

Mobstreatopen trapdoorsas closed, causingthemto walk off them, and possibly dyingMobs walk off open trapdoors because they think they are closed
Mob ignores open trapdoors and act like they are not open.
This causes mobs to fall into places they would not usually end up like dying when falling off a >24-meter opening space, which will kill them, and often traps them in weird places.
Mobs walk off open trapdoors or get trapped in them because they think they are closed
At Y=12
I have too many slimes spawning and they arejumpinginto the ceiling and suffocating and there are slimeballs all over the place and I have a chest full of the stupid things. At Y=12, the slimes jump into the ceiling and suffocate themself.
Mobs spawningrediculously a lot at Y=11-13Mobs not spawning on surface, only underground
I am at y=11 and in SkeleCraft world and there are way too many hostile mobs spawning wherever they can,
like one every 2 blocksin light level <8

When I loaded up a world and found a village, grass dirt was inside a house. It (obviously) only occurs on non-flat worlds. It may have already loaded in an earlier version, so it may be fixed.
Okay, now I made a new world in hardcore in 14w27b. I went to the plains biome to try to find iron. I found this village and it had tons of dirt and grass in it.

Shouldn't this be reopened now?

Also: Please tell me if you think this is the same bug or a different one: If you have a ton of baby cows, they keep pushing the parent infinitely
This was "removed" in a previous snapshot, skeletons fighting back, but if the skeletons is wither type and it's in a closed space it will attack the dog once, it may have other circumstances it happens on/with and may be with normal skeletons too.
I was trying to recreate red-riding-hood story in Minecraft and I noticed if a tamed wolf attacks a skeleton it drops rare drops and XP so I made a wither farm with setblock ~ ~ ~ mob_spawner 0 replace {EntityId:Skeleton,SpawnData:{SkeletonType:1,Equimpent:[
{id:272}]}} and it spawned some wither skeletons I trapped the skeletons in a box the dog/I can get out of but the skeletons can't and the XP comes to me but the Skeleton killed my dog. I repeated this and about 95% of the time this doesn't happen.
I'm not sure this only happens with wither skeletons.
I played this morning and it was fine, and now, an item frame crashes my game?! I am not happy. It's just a stinking melon! Seriously?
Skin pack for 1.8 displays my skin when I play offline, and everything else was fine in 14w17a

I miss my LP :'( Boo-hoo I've had it for 400 some (Minecraft) days! And 142 real days :'(
I played this morning and it was fine, and now, an item frame crashes my game?! I am not happy. It's just a stinking melon! Seriously? I downgraded back to 14w17a to play my LP
IT WORKS IN 14w17a not 14w18a
Skin pack for 1.8 displays my skin when I play offline, and everything else was fine in 14w17a

I miss my LP :'( Boo-hoo I've had it for 400 some (Minecraft) days! And 142 real days :'(Just realized it could've also been a map item frame, since I forgot about my maps XD

And 142 real days :'(Just realized it could've also been a map item frame, since I forgot about my maps
I was at 49 FPS and it went to 3 FPS in 1 second for no reason.
As soon as I started walking.
I have footage of 20 some frames to 0 frames

Only happens in this 1 world, my LP.
I placed a sticky piston that was going to instantly be powered, and when it pulsed, my game lagged because some items were suddenly spewing out of dispensers, and I was able to take a picture. The second picture was a minute after. Note that this DOESN'T always happen.
Biomes in a seed (any seed) are the same in both default and amplified
I generated my LP December 8th, and generated the same seed a week ago as "amplified". The biomes were all in the same place.
I'm not 100% sure this is not intended.
1. Create a new world in creative mode.
2. Switch to peaceful.
3. Go in spectator mode. /gamemode 3
4. Find a skeleton dungeon.
5. Go in creative mode when you go in it.
6. (optional) Remove the chests.
7. Put torches up and make sure there's no light level of 7 or less.
8. Go in Hard.
9. (optional) keep adding 24000 to the time until the difficulty is 3.75
10. A bunch of skeletons will spawn 1/2 in ground (feet in ground). This broke my LP's 3 dungeon farms! |:-|
I added a pic. of my vid. settings.
Here's another 2 combinations of settings that work.
So I was building a minigame, and went to update to 14w26c and all the snow, signs, heads, sticky pistons,
signs, everything was gone. I went back to 14w26b and everything was back. "Phew!" I thought. Then I went to put an item in a chest and all the chest was empty! I sneaked
?off a packed ice block expecting to not, but apparently snow counts as a full block.

Certain mobs have a odd chance of dropping experience when is killed by a golem. Zombie Pigmen are an example.
I think it has to do with if the player is holding a weapon.
I am providing a screenshot showing which zombie pigmen dropped XP.
It mayalsohave to do with if the golem flipped themob in the air. If it diesof falldamagecaused by thegolem. I'll still have to do some testing.Certain mobs have a odd chance of dropping experience when is killed by a golem. Zombie Pigmen are an example.

I tried it with zombies because zombies and Pig Zombies share a lot of AI and that doesn't seem to trigger it, so none from zombies

This is useless to have it go to "Y=256" when you can only build up to Y=255.
Pistons can push blocks through the worldborder. Note: Sticky pistons can't pull back through.
I am 99% sure this's not intended because there's no way to edit blocks outside of the worldborder. You can't /setblock it, place it, or really do anything outside of the worldborder except pistons and the sticky ones can't pull it back.
When I checked out part of my base at y=20-ish there was some granite there that I know wasn't there before. I have no idea where it came from and I got creeped out. Seriously, this chunk was first generated in 1.7.3 or 1.7.4 and shouldn't have granite. I looked all over and there was only 2 veins of granite in the whole chunk. There was not even diorite or andesite. It's connected to my base (1.7.3) and only like 6 chunks away. Plus, the light level was all fudgey.

Please be sure to use the search button and look around to make sure someone else hasn't already reported it. Although, I don't mind, you have to be careful whose bugs you duplicate. It's fine for me, though.

When invisible, endermen can see you when you stare at them, causing them to attack.
Why it's weird: Skeletons, spiders, and other mobs won't attack you if you are invisible, but staring at endermen, that's a different story.

This has happened since I got Minecraft and it's really annoying. A friend told me it's happened since 1.7, and I've played since 1.7.3, Dec 7th of 2013.
It's annoying because I have 1 fps in windowed mode and crashes every 32 seconds in full screen.
I'm not sure if it is my computer or Minecraft.

If you set up something exactly like this, in the screen shot:
and spawn a rabbit behind the snow, and hold a carrot the rabbit falls through the ground.
Sorry if it's hard to understand, I sometimes have a hard time explaining things.

Part 1: When I open the 3x3 door with the hole in the middle to my potion lab, it takes two seconds (which is normal) to open, but the actual ice blocks appear to still be there for seconds, and sometimes, the lower 3 ice blocks (Y level 47) look like they disappear before the top ones. (this may be related or the same as bug I just reported)
Part 2: Sometimes, when loading a world, some loaded chunks will be invisible for a long period of time, but the hitboxes are visible, and I can walk around on them. If I place/remove a block on them, they're visible.
Part 3: When I load a world, especially creative default-gen worlds, flying around makes rendering chunks go invisible when I go into loaded but un-rendering chunks, causing chunks I enter to appear and the un-rendering chunks to appear but the already rendering chunks to un-render.
Sorry, this may be super confusing..
This is the same bug because they are all about chunk updates occuring very slowly. I don't have issues with glitched blocks that respawn when I break them (not since 1.7.4), and I haven't had issues with blocks being visible but not existing (Since 14w30a).

What I did:
1. I put a bed in the celing in my stronghold, and I slept.
2. When I awoke, I glitched through the bed and landed on the floor.
3. I entered the End.
4. When I exited the end, I spawned at spawn and the game said my bed was gone.
5. When I got to the stronghold, the bed was still there. How to reproduce:
1. Put a bed where there is no valid spawnpoint.
2. Die or go to the end.
3. Respawn.I also got this in 15w50a but it is no longer on the list.

Bug: Cats randomly teleport to a nearby location to the player when the chunk the cat is in is loaded.
Storytime! So, in a SSP world, I was building a passive mob farm, but I got really lazy, so I used /summon Ozelot <x> <y> <z> to get the cats, and I used some NBT Tags: Owner and CatType (was I forgetting one?). I went back in survival mode, and they started teleporting to me, usually inside nonsolid blocks (chests, ender chests, fences, halfslabs, stairs, et cetera), especially when I was standing on blocks ≠ 1 meter tall. (Chests, halfslabs, fences, et cetera.) I realized they might be killing chicken jockeys, since they usually survived, it didn't make sense that there were still raw chickens (raw chickens? why does that sound weird) in the hopper. They were also teleporting to me when a mob attacked me, but that might be a totally different bug. It happened 1 time with dogs and about 10 with cats, and the dog had an orange collar, so I assumed he had came from my old mob farm that he had glitched out of by a mob pushing him.

It happened 1 time with dogs and about 10 with cats, and the dog had an orange collar, so I assumed he had came from my old mob farm that he had glitched out of by a mob pushing him. There were about 5 in my storage room, which I visit no more often than my mob farm collection area, which there was only 1 in, and the floor is made of slabs in only the storage room, and it is very odd there would be so many in the storage room.
Bug: Cats randomly teleport to a nearby location to the player when the chunk the cat is in is loaded.
Storytime! So, in a (is it a or an?) SSP world, I was building a
passive mob farm, but I got really lazy, so I used /summon Ozelot <x> <y> <z> to get the cats, and I used some NBT Tags: Owner and CatType (was I forgetting one?). I went back in survival mode, and they started teleporting to me, usually inside nonsolid blocks (chests, ender chests, fences, halfslabs, stairs, grasspaths et cetera), especially when I was standing on blocks ≠ 1 meter tall. Cats sometimes teleport to the player
Cats sometimes teleport to the player
Cats sometimes teleport to the player (
MC-96369), sitting. If you try to make them get up, they often run to a nearby location and just stand there. After that, telling them to sit doesn't work, even if you reload the world, restart the game, et cetera. The only way to get them to sit is to break the block under them, and then they will sit.
Cats do not obey when told to sit after teleporting to the player randomly. After teleporting to the player, cats do not obey when told to sit again, until the block below is destroyed.

How was this not reported yet? Or was it, and I'm just blind?
If you look at something far away, probably about 15 chunks away, and your render distance is 16, it will cause it to fade when you look at it. If your crosshair goes directly at it, it fades almost completely, as if it is >16 chunks away, but when you set your FOV to Quake Pro (optional) and look as far away from it as you can without it leaving the screen, the blocks be totally clear. This has been in the game for a very long time, (since before 1.5, I've only been playing it since, like, 1.5 or 1.4), but I didn't see it reported. This may be intended, but it should be changed, since the direction your body faces compared to your head should not affect how things look in the distance.
I am attempting to record a video with a small part of the clip in it, but since I have a 10:1 ratio of how long it takes for me to upload a video compared to how long the video is, and the video is 31 minutes, it will take about 310 minutes. I will get the link as soon as the video finished uploading.

Shulkers can "magically" sense the player's movement when closed
Shulkers can sense the player magically! I think they are psychic, or maybe just glitched out. They can detect a player's movement when the player is in creative mode and their shell is closed.
How to reproduce:
1. Load any creative superflat world.
2. Spawn in a shulker. (or 36, it doesn't matter how many)
3. Press F3+B to enable hitboxes. This also shows you their line of sight with a blue line.
4. Orbit the shulker with a 1-3 block radius. The shulker's blue line will eventually start to follow you if you walk close to it.

Yeah, I did search,
sorry I made a duplicate and also sorry if it happens again.
That is what I meant, I know wither skeletons should not even have that render
F3 tells you the direction, so I never really use compases. I do use them to create maps, and it doesn't bother me.
I usually only see that while using spawners, or when breaking/killing the minecart/boat/spider/chicken it is riding.
I have waited about 10 minutes with 81 chickens and 0 eggs. I take that back, there are now >60 eggs
Not sure that's a bug, think it is just so it looks cool.
True, this does happen, this is odd.
that's true, but any non-existing block should do that. Basically, the bug is emphasis any emphasis block you type in above the maximum data value will display pink black block
people were able to achieve the 52 by doing it and Mojang don't want us to.
The giant can only see 16 blocks like skeletons and creepers, although they should be able to see 128 blocks since they are 8x larger than a zombie
setblock ~ ~1 ~ minecraft:glowstone 0 replace
did not happen for me
/clone command only clones blocks not mobs like minecarts.
Deserts? Rare? What? I find deserts in Skelacraft all the time. Jungles are rare, so are disco (mesa) canyons.
What a bug is is that the slimes are jumping into the ceiling
It is not producing lag it is just too many mobs are spawning underground instead of at the surface.
I know it is fine for me even w/ gamerule doMobLoot false ! Maybe if I set it to true it will stop, I have seen bugs like this before.
Technically, this is not a bug. Also, I have noticed the difficulty unlocked, but no longer does that.
Weighted Pressure Plates count emphasis any emphasis entity/mob except ItemFrame s and Painting s
That's not a bug.
Confirmed: Also happens in creative flying mode.
/testfor is only for entities logged in, so that's not a bug.
it happens w/ non-summoned red sand
I also thought of that.
isn't that a bug and what about the second part?
BUG: Mobs jumping on >1 meter-tall blocks sink when they hit their head on ceiling or reload the world as they fall.
List of Mobs:
Skeleton: 14% Usually after they start burning or jumping on things
Zombie: 10%
Chicken: 10%
Spider: 8%
Villager: 7%
Wolves: 7%
Other Mobs: 5% (avg.)

The are like parasites.
Confirmed. Windows 8, also
Not a bug, I don't think.
They are about 50% faster in 14w11b.
I think carpets should be see-through on maps.
Confirmed.
That is true, but this is not a bug. The remainder of the #17 are sideways logs, so if you place 17:4 you get sideways logs. Leaves also need to decay.
I think there's a difficulty for every dimension, now that I've given it some thought.
Can confirm for 1.5.2
definitely confirmed!
sorry I duplicated it
14w17b?
it's entities or movement of the players, most likely, and my base is filled with chickens, villagers, item frames, and other entities, although only happens apon movement.
I can get upto 70 fps in this world only, and only this world lowers to 0 fps. Other worlds have 5-30 fps on average, depending on which type of world, sandstone test worlds are at 20-30, LP's are at (not this one though) 5-20, and default test are ranging from 5-25.
Stayed at about 20 in 14w11b or earlier.
I like it.
No, but Dinnerbone's flip would be annoying, so they disabled it for him, they should flip it while in spectator mode.
I thought it was a part of a desert temple at first, I only saw it 2 times, and I thought was weird that it was only near caves. It was in amplified, so caves are kinda rare.
It's a good thing I don't have a lot in that world.
Maybe they could make a creeperflip, spiderflip, and invertflip shaders.
If you don't want it to crash, use barriers not tile.null.name-s
Confirmed for 14w25b
I'm quite sure it's 25% for zombie and spider and 50% for skeleton, all the ones I find are usually skeleton.
I've seen it in singleplayer.
Uh, what if you don't own a non-silk touch axe?
Not my favorite bug
WAI means Works as Intended
I'm pretty sure it's actually Ozelot JS. I know it's, weird, but you have to /summon Ozelot and not /summon Ocelot
this is a glitch?
Works as intended, fast's supposed to decrease lag, and it lags less this way.
I might have been, not sure. I do have a resource pack and may or may not (i'm unsure) have had it on, but it also happens when it is not on.
I didn't backup
in forever other than 14w26b
I'm just going to stay in 14w26b.
Wow, I change my mind pretty fast.
14w25b, I was not able to make a backup, (I didn't have my hard drive I make backups on.) so I had to make one in 14w26b/c. Unfortunatly, I have to re-build my mushroom farm.
My hard drive has 1.8 TB of space (yeah, IK it's ironic
) so I use it to make backups.
Happens also in 14w26c
I wish that worked as intended, I like them like that.
IDK, pretty sure it was 1 layer.
Fixed in 14w26c
Wow, weird.
I've seen it offline!
true, I guess I didn't think of that.
it is [id:log2] not [minecraft:log2]
or stonebrick in your case xD
WAI, it's the slabs. Technically, you are inside a block, so it looks dark.
Pretty sure WAI.
I miss the number id's
Confirmed in 14w26c and
14w26bSame happens for dark oak leaves. tile.leaves.dark_oak.name 14w27b
Either air or sandstone, most likely.
I tried with only 1 lever andit still happened with sandstone under it. It happens by itself, too.Edit: I did it by itself and still happens with just a lever and sticky piston, it really doesn't have to do with the lamps I just noticed it while randomly placing blocks and decided to report it.
Confirmed for 14w27b.

Possibly WAI, since villages always are surrounded by air. If you really want to remove the water, use MCEdit.
Edit: I wouldn't use sponges. Updating the water might make an even bigger mess.
If not WAI, Confirmed.

I don't think the
lever(Edit) button is even powering the command block when spit out. Still, I would check to see if it's an XThe lever in my picture.Oops, I just realized it's a button. I was first using a lever.
When I press the button again, it turns on. The command I used is /testfor @p
Here are 4 pictures.
Still need to check for 14w27a/b
Edit: My world doesn't seem to agree with 14w27b. It works, just took forever to load and it really laggy. I was still able to see (I was pretty close to the mushroom farm) that it has a hole. Oddly, it only happens (with the exact same video settings) in 1
worldprofile. If I go to my other profile I can't do it.Downgrading my LP world to 14w26c. (Using a backup I made before I entered 14w27b)
Why is this bug bothering people so bad? I think it's cool. It is nostalgic. this happened in like alpha
This site is for the PC version of MC, not PE. This will be invalid.

I never let my tools break except on hard core, so if a tool gets low, I just toss it into a chest. Now, I've been playing hardcore and been noticing certain tools do and don't make a noise.
I know the exact reason why, the game thinks you are riding a mob that has specific health. That means a mob like horses, cows, pigs, skeletons, creepers, zombies, endermen, and many more. Boats and minecarts. The game can't render the boat's or minecart's health because they have a different type of health. Yes, they are mobs, (although some wouldn't agree, any entity with health is a mob.) Boats and minecarts have health that is affected by the tool(s) you use to break them. Minecarts break best with a sword or pickaxe, as boats break best with an sword or axe. Other mobs specific health is used differently. There's only one exception: Axes and baby zombies, as far as I know, baby zombies die faster with axes than swords.
Edit: I am not 100% sure, as for I can't really confirm this, but I am pretty sure.
Confirmed for 14w27b.
Edit: Also happens with boats.
Edit #2: This can be reversed by opening your inventory.
I recommend pressing escape, doesn't freeze up for me when I hit escape.

MC-58644.Are you saying hoppers don't work when trapped chests are open? Hoppers don't work unless they are not powered, and if you open a trapped chest next to a hopper, it prevents it from working, since trapped chests provide (a very small, but still prevents the hopper from working) redstone current.
I think some are babies, and if you right click on a adult/baby rabbit, it spawns more of the same type. (None of this I'm sure of, but I'm 95% sure.)
For me, knockback in any survival, or default, certain superflats, and customized are really laggy.

The game thinks it's not newly spawned. /summon WitherBoss ~ ~ ~

If so, then "Nether Wart" should, too.
So, not a bug, but it is a good request.

MC-60156I just watched Etho Plays Minecraft Episode 309 today and figured out that's been in the game a long time. For some reason, I thought they only spawned at Y=14 or lower.
Seems to only happen in the nether.Happened for about 7 seconds on average.
I think one thing that causes it is if they can't get to the player, or if they switched from creative to survival.
For some reason, it only happens some times with me.
Yes! It's fixed
Yes, only on certain worlds, though. I generate a world with the exact same seed as my LP, and the knockback/slimes is really floaty. Superflat seed that doesn't make the mobs floaty: 3;minecraft:bedrock,62*minecraft:stone,minecraft:grass;4;
New worlds that aren't hardcore seem to have this problem, plus most superflats.
I've also noticed the game doesn't save and the block-placing sounds are like 10-30 seconds delayed.
Melons or pumpkins?
Try slot.armor.head melon_block
Works for me.

I think it does happen for mobs.........
Tried using the TNT cannon to catapult a creeper up high at y=250-something, and maybe it was covered by the explosion, but I thought the creeper disappeared for a few seconds, I gave it resistance 6 with /effect @e[type=Creeper] 11 1000 5 and I think when it hit the ground at y=64, it didn't die.

MC-60933. XDIt seems kinda funny until it happens to you.
I hope this's fixed soon, it happened today (for the first time) for me, but is really annoying. I also discovered a huge abandoned mineshaft caused by this, with tons of cave spider spawners, which I need for my potion-room, (for spider-eyes) which is directly (about 6 blocks above, not even one block off in x or z coords) above it.
Okay, is this the bug it is talking about?: When I break a block (say it's stone with gold ore behind) it still shows the block (but if I press F3 it says minecraft:gold_ore [or whatever the id is for golden ore], and I can't see the stone's hitbox and am able to break the gold behind).
Edit: Plus, is this related to the see-through chunks, which is really annoying, and when I place a torch I can see the torch particles but the torch itself is invisible, the dubug screen says there is a torch there and is light level of 14 light, 14 block, 0 sky. I can even the hitbox, but it looks like it is a light level of 0. I am in a cave.

Nice, but when creating a gamerule/scoreboard objective I always put the first word lowercase and the rest capital for example /gamerule spongesAreAmazing true. BTW related to
MC-65113./give @p ender_pearl 64 gives 4 separate stacked of 16, though.
Guess saying that was way useless, since someone else just said that. LOL I didn't notice.
I think it's actually 127, I'd check again.
64+63=127
I like the numbers 4, 8, 16, 32, 48, 64, 80, 128, 256, 512, that's why I know.
64+64=128-1=127, thus 64+63=127, not 125.
No, they don't, they're just invisible.
Fixed in 14w31a.
Looks fine to me.
Are these chunks pre-14w25a?Try re-creating this world and /tp yourself to that, and see if there's a water temple.
Works as intended, there's a water temple there if it was in 14w25a+ but since it's not it shows no temple, but usually there would be.
It's still funny to see a fake Etho in a minecart! LOL
It's not low memory, every time it crashes it has some silly notification like get Windows 8.1.
I have 300+ fps in fullscreen.
Edit: It doesn't have that many, but I can't close my antivirus because a glitch.
I'll close this window, and 1 fps is loading new, amplified, chunks, and 60ish when idling. I get 300 fps when loading new, amplified chunks in fullscreen.
I really don't want to use my old backup, I just got a new music disc! Ignoring it.

Just so you know you wrote inmune (which I don't know how you managed, it tries to correct it about a bagillion times) not immune.
There is no 14w38a yet.Uh, the video is private.
What?
I deleted it because I thought it wasn't important, but they usually don't die in 1.8pre1 but in pre2 they do.
No, this is moving slimes, not edge of slimes.
It's usually between 16 and 2 meters and they should fall on their own usually.
{SkeletonType:1}Edit: Whoa, upon testing, I just killed some wither skeletons and the 2nd one I killed dropped a skull with a unenchanted diamond sword!
Anyway, I just made a 16x16meter platform of dirt /fill ~15 ~ ~15 ~ ~ ~ dirt in the air and placed a block to the side with a trapdoor on the side, then place a dirt block 2 meters over and a trapdoor facing the other and opened them and spawned in a wither skeleton /summon Skeleton ~ ~ ~
on the 257 meter platform and stood on the separate dirt block and went in survival /gamemode 0. The skeleton fell upon chasing me and jumped to try to get to me. I fell down and he stopped jumping and spinning.
Edit 2: I forgot to mention I punched him to make him attack.
I think it's supposed to show around a player after they get an achievement. (Wow, that's a word [achievement] that I can't spell very good and got it in one try!) That's just a guess.
