What I expected to happen was...:
Join a server
What actually happened was...:
Joined the server got disconnected and pressed back to title. And I crashed
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click quick connect
2. Fill the ip up completely with charracters till it is filled up completely.
3. Click connect
4. crash

OS: Windows 7 (ver 6.1, arch amd64)
Java: 1.7.0_55 (by Oracle Corporation)
Launcher: Minecraft Launcher 1.5.3 (bootstrap 5)

Confirmed. The crash occurs when entering more than 63 characters, but the text box allows you to enter up to 128 characters.
This bug can be reopened now.

The crash starts now to happen at 73 characters.
You are still abled to type the max of 128 characters
Still not fixed in pre-3
