MC-84431Take fall damage with levitation effect
When I use /effect @p minecraft:levitation 100 250
I slowly float to the ground but when I hit the ground I take falling damage as if I was falling and I get pushed into the air again.

What do you mean by that? And yes levitation is supposed to make you take fall damage as you fall back down on the ground.
