I downlaoded and played for about 8 hours yesteday getting to level 37 and beating default mode just to start into adventure. Once I had decided it was time for sleep I went to close via the exit menus, when I exited using that GUI for some reason it reloaded an old save from when I was level 17 and overwrote my newest save file and I have lost most of my progression.
Its kind of BS when I spent a fair amount of time honing my preferred kit with the right enchantments to have it erased due to an error.

Mine was wiped completely! No trace of my progress except for xbox achievements..
Sadly same here, my son (10yo) cried all he could. Lost most of the xp and stuff he fought hard to loot. Thought the game was no longer a beta version...
same issue here. and no response.
Yeah same thing just happened to me, me and my SO have been playing a bit and we were lvl 21 I clicked "quit to desktop" and for some reason it took me to the main menu where I was lvl 15 and lost everything but my SO was still lvl 21 with all her gear.
And it can happen multiple time on the same account. Here 3 times in 48hours!!!!
It's probably because this game saves your progress locally instead of on a server. I had my game deleted because the power went out while I was playing ONLINE. Just requested a refund.
