MCD-2787Church not opened and runes unable to be collected
I want to unlock the secret level by collecting the runes however whenever I try to go into a secret room with a rune in it I can't open the door to get inside (button to open door not appearing for me). I know this is a bug because I do not have access to the church however I have beaten the story on all three difficulties. I have tried to delete the game and reinstall it which didn't work. If you have any solutions please tell me appreciation in advance.

You need to unlock the church first and press on the fireplace. If you beat the game there is a way to gain access to the church.
This seems to be related to another similar post. However, I can verify that this is exactly my issue as well. Bridge is up, no buttons or levers in any location they are supposed to be and the game is bested on all difficulty modes.
How do we suppose to lower the bridge in an exact manner?
Explore around camp. There should be some piston jump pads present to get to the other side. When at the other side, hug the walls and find a hidden path to the stone building
Search YouTube or Google about how to gain access to the church. As it turned out, once you've bested the game on Classic mode, you need to jump to the other side via pistons as if to get to the church from the backdoor. There's a narrow path leading behind the church where you can lower the bridge and go in to click the Dog painting.
