when exiting the inventory there's a flash of colors and sometimes gets stuck on the screen and obscures view. as far as I know it affects the PS4 version. It only happens in the dlc levels and not the camp or main game levels it seems.

This occurs 100% in Cacti Canyon when the player leaves its inventory.
As of PS4 version 1.03, this occurs during the game's splash screens and Main Menu.

Not true, I'm on an old PS4 not ps4 pro and not even ps4 slim, just ps4 and my tv is not 4k and is far from it
