You have already exhausted all the normal troubleshooting like uninstalling or reinstalling the game right? I was attempting to help someone else with this issue without any resolve yet. Did you happen to purchase this game through the Minecraft Dungeons launcher by any chance?

Try:
🦑 *Squid/Camp Load crash*
Open the game to the Main Menu > *Disable Wi-Fi* > Start an offline game > Make progress (Finish Creeper woods) When at camp: Pause > return to Main Menu > *Enable Wi-Fi*
You should be able to play the game normally from now on in both Online and Offline sessions.
If the issue persists but only for online games:
Open the game to the Main Menu > *Disable Wi-Fi* > Start an offline game > Make progress (Finish Creeper woods).
When at camp: *Enable WI-FI* > Make progress (again)
