I cannot join my friends Dungeons game, my account settings are set to allow me to play online with others however I still cannot join, also we're both in the beta program and we have both completed the tutorial. What we think the problem is that I can't see the "join" button on the right of my friends names for some reason

Have you tried joining your friend while he is in lobby?
yes, it's just that the "join" button isn't showing up I think
You both have to be same platform. Maybe try Win+G and invite him.
Have you both made sure you are on the latest version of the game?

Open the Microsoft store from the start menu > triple dots in the top right corner > downloads and updates > Get updates
🔎 *Check for updates for the Launcher (Windows 7/8/10) Version*
Open the launcher > Button should say UPDATE instead of PLAY > Click it
