Tried to do an Ancient Hunt twice. Both times the game froze while playing. So we lost our items sacrificed as well as enchantment points.

Temporarily closed... but this same damn thing just happened to me. Frozen at nearly the end of the Ancient Hunts and cannot get it to do anything. I’m going to have to shut it off and lose everything I had sacrificed. This game has been way too buggy since being released. I’m tired of spending money on Minecraft just to be disappointed continually.
Still happens every game session. I keep trying to play after each patch; the game keeps freezing after every patch.
Does the issue occur regardless of whether the game is being played with the console docked or not?

Only ever tried with the console docked.
Can you please test if playing with the console undocked allows for completing Ancient Hunt without issues?
