Can't upload or download character on Switch, "The software was closed because an error occurred"
I have Minecraft Dungeons on both Xbox Series X as well as Nintendo Switch. I am able to upload and download characters on Xbox, but when I attempt to do the same thing on Switch, the game crashes and I get the error: The software was closed because an error occurred.
I tried using both my Microsoft accounts and on multiple Switches. I tried redownloading the software, restarting the Switch, and deleting my save data. None of which changed anything. Checking for corrupted data resulted in no corruption found.
I was able to upload my save data when the update first came out. It has been causing this error ever since.
I will be leaving on a trip soon and was hoping to take my saves with me on the go. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

I have exactly the same Problem. I can confirm that waiting in the main menue for a while ( 1-2 Minutes ) befor trying to up/download a character works ( Mentioned in
MCD-5994)Same problem here, no upload or download on the Switch. It crashes the software. It worked before the latest update.
Waiting in the main menu for a minute or two indeed allowed me download my characters! Thank you!! Hopefully this won’t be necessary in the future, but I’m grateful to be able to play on the go again.
The latest 1.9.3.0 update resolves this issue.
